SiftMind Terms of Use
Last revised: October 6, 2026
Effective date: October 6, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the SiftMind app and its related educational materials and support services (the “Service”), operated by InnovFlux Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By affirmatively accepting these Terms, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These are supplementary service terms. The software license for SiftMind obtained through the Apple App Store is governed by Apple's Standard EULA, as explained in Section 6.
1. What SiftMind provides
SiftMind offers self-guided educational exercises, reflection tools, and everyday skills practice for general wellbeing. Some exercises draw on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and related approaches. Learning about or practicing a technique does not mean you are receiving therapy.
SiftMind is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, screen for, prevent, cure, or treat medical or mental health conditions. It does not provide medical advice, psychotherapy, prescriptions, personalized clinical recommendations, or treatment plans.
The Service is not a substitute for evaluation, diagnosis, advice, or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional. Using it does not establish a clinician–patient or therapist–client relationship with SiftMind or its team.
Exercises, categories, ratings, saved history, and suggested next steps are tools for personal reflection. They do not establish a diagnosis, assess clinical severity, determine whether you are safe, or measure treatment effectiveness. The current release does not provide AI-generated therapeutic advice or automated risk assessment.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and have legal capacity to accept these Terms under the laws that apply where you live. SiftMind is currently offered only on iOS and is intended for worldwide availability, subject to applicable law and platform availability.
Protect your device and take care when using SiftMind on a shared device.
3. Safe use and professional care
Every exercise is optional. Some steps require an answer to continue; you can stop at any time without finishing the exercise. Stop if an exercise increases distress, causes discomfort, or feels unsafe.
Do not use the Service to make medical decisions, change medication, stop prescribed care, or delay seeking professional help. Consult a qualified healthcare professional about symptoms, conditions, treatment, or concerns that persist or interfere with daily life.
Use exercises only where it is safe to direct your attention to them. Do not use attention-focused exercises or audio while driving, operating machinery, or performing another activity requiring your full attention. Plans and suggested actions are for safe, voluntary, manageable everyday tasks, not dangerous situations or medical decisions.
Read the Medical and Wellbeing Disclaimer and Safety Guidance. They explain important limits and safe use of the Service.
Product support through contact@innovflux.com is for technical issues. Submit app or skill feedback through the in-app feedback feature, which uses Firebase. It does not provide mental-health support, counselling, diagnosis, or treatment. Privacy requests may also be sent to this address.
4. Emergencies and crisis support
SiftMind is not an emergency, crisis intervention, or suicide-prevention service. Entries, ratings, and support messages are not monitored for emergencies. Do not expect the Service to detect danger, contact emergency services, or alert another person.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger or experiencing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department. If you need urgent emotional support, contact an appropriate local crisis service. Do not wait for a response from SiftMind support.
5. Privacy and your content
Our Privacy Policy explains collection, use, sharing, retention, and your choices regarding personal information. Any legally required consent for sensitive or optional processing is obtained separately from accepting these Terms.
You retain ownership of the content you enter. Your exercise entries remain on your own device; these Terms do not transfer ownership of them to us or grant us a right to upload, publish, sell, or use them for AI training. The app processes your entries locally to provide the features you use. Information you deliberately submit as in-app feedback or send to product support is handled under the Privacy Policy, including remote Firebase processing of submitted feedback.
Avoid entering information about another person unless you have the right to do so. You are responsible for information you choose to copy, screenshot, or share outside the Service.
6. Permitted use and intellectual property
For SiftMind obtained through the Apple App Store, the software license is governed by the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). InnovFlux Inc. is the application provider and licensor of SiftMind; Apple is not the provider of SiftMind's educational content or product support.
These Terms supplement the Standard EULA with SiftMind-specific provisions about educational use, safety, support, and other service matters. They do not replace the Standard EULA or establish a custom EULA. If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA concerning the software license, the Standard EULA governs that license, subject to mandatory applicable law. Our actual information handling is described in the Privacy Policy; the Standard EULA is not a substitute for any separate consent required by law.
SiftMind and its licensors retain rights to the app, software, branding, and exercise materials, except your own content. Use the Service for personal, lawful purposes consistent with these Terms and the Standard EULA.
You must not:
- Use the Service for unlawful conduct, harassment, exploitation, or infringement of others' rights.
- Attempt unauthorized access, bypass security controls, introduce malicious software, or disrupt the Service.
- Copy, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit protected Service materials without permission, except where applicable law allows it.
- Present SiftMind as a medical device, diagnostic service, therapist, or treatment provider.
Nothing in these Terms restricts rights that applicable law does not allow us to restrict.
7. Free access
The current version of SiftMind is free. There are no implemented payment services or paid subscriptions. You do not authorize any charge by accepting these Terms.
If we introduce paid features in the future, their prices and terms will be presented separately before purchase. You will not be enrolled in a paid plan without your agreement.
8. Availability, third parties, and changes
The Service may be unavailable during maintenance or because of technical problems. Features may change or be discontinued. We will provide any notice or remedies required by applicable law for material changes.
Links to outside resources are provided for convenience. Third-party websites, app stores, and providers have their own terms and privacy practices. An external link does not mean SiftMind has evaluated a resource for your individual circumstances.
9. No guaranteed outcomes
Individual experiences vary. We do not promise a particular change in mood, symptom relief, clinical benefit, or other outcome. References to established techniques do not mean SiftMind itself has been clinically validated, medically approved, or shown to be suitable for every user.
For service matters governed by these supplementary Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. The Standard EULA separately addresses warranties for the licensed app. Mandatory statutory warranties and consumer protections remain in effect.
10. Liability
For service matters governed by these supplementary Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service. The Standard EULA separately addresses liability for the licensed app. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
11. Ending use and suspension
You may stop using the Service at any time. Manage or delete local app information through your device or app controls as described in the Privacy Policy. We cannot remotely delete entries that are stored only on your device.
We may discontinue distribution of the app or optional product support, subject to applicable law. We may limit optional product-support interactions in response to abuse, a security threat, or a legal requirement. Where practical and legally permitted, we will explain the reason and offer a way to resolve the issue through contact@innovflux.com. This does not give us remote access to your installed app or local entries, and it does not prevent you from submitting privacy requests, complaints, or other requests we are legally required to address. Applicable consumer and privacy rights remain in effect.
12. Changes to these Terms
We will publish revised Terms with an updated effective date. For material changes, we will provide advance notice where required through an in-app notice or another appropriate channel and request renewed acceptance where required. If you do not agree to revised Terms, you may stop using the Service and exercise any rights available under applicable law. Changes will not retroactively remove rights that have already arisen.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are subject to applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections where you live. Nothing here removes your right to bring a claim in a court available to you under applicable law. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive class-action rights.
If a provision cannot be enforced, the remainder continues to apply to the extent allowed by law. Contact us first if you would like help resolving a concern; doing so does not prevent you from exercising legal rights or contacting a regulator.
